Something about that big boot stomping down in front of my view makes her look tough and powerful and gives it a feminist vibe. There seems to be something a little bit too sanitary and symmetrical about this piece that makes me tempted to think it's boring if the subject wasn't so impressive. Overall beautiful perspective. You can really feel her attitude and it comes out in the pose and that gargantuan boot staring down the viewer. Like I said though.... something's off. Just a little too perfectly shaped or something. Makes it feel like it's lacking a bit. I really love the tall tree popping out over her head. Looks like it belongs in a rain forest. Or is it a cloud? I'm not sure what it was intended to be but the soft blending around the sharp contrast of her hat is pleasing to the eye. Makes her look edgy.
