Description
George Washington. I have definitely realized this over the years, which is why I prefer solitude over a group of worthless friends that won't care about you down the line.Another "Better to be" stamp, why not?

Its better to stay on your own than mix in with the bad eggs.
No wonder the Bible says that "evil communication corrupts good manner".

just like my annoying cousins. they drive me bonkers to the point of where I'd rather be in my room with a locked door than with them.

True this one.
In my life I used to end up in bad company, because I was too lazy to find actually good one. Then I got the biggest lesson in my life and realized how much damage this can make. After a year staying alone and thinking myself, I decided keep only those people near me I actually like and who's worth it - if there's non, I can survive alone. Best decision ever.

Very true. I feel that way a lot lately with a number of people I speak to. Good quote

It's a good statement but I think you mean "than".
