Great piece, really imaginative effects. I would suggest perhaps trying to filter the color on the bright section of the cloak to yellow-orange to match the explosion's colors, and darken the shaded section of it to give a more forceful outline of the person - I think that would perfectly blend in the figure with the rest of the art.
The dock doesn't quite match the rest, but I'll be darned if I can figure out what exactly it needs to bring it into the image more...

The impact of your manip is great. But I second what Shiruvan said. Also, the girl is considerably to small compared to the ocean. The lighting in the sky and the lighting on the waves don't go together at all. Consider from what dircetion the light source is coming from.

I like the concept, but you should definitely work some more on the whole picture like lighting and depth of field.
The focus is to much on the ocean because it's sharper then the girl and the background ..
But I like it, good work !

I love the concept.. the sky and the sea blend together very well, but the pier and the girl look pasted in. Maybe some softening of the edges or something.. just a little something to pull it all together. Very good piece though well done
