Description
Now that Cicilia knew Tris and her friend were there, she couldn't block them out. Their high-pitched mocking voices rose above all the others, always prying at the edge of her audible range. The German turned to face them, looking upon them both in silent contempt. Tris' smirk curled upwards mischievously, pointing at the Grey Wolf.

"Huuuuuh? What's that look about?" The redhead challenged! "You looking for a fight or something!?" Cicilia said nothing, the weight of her glare falling over the room. Even the people around them noticed the tension building between the two, a hundred eyes falling upon their exchange. Tris' eyes glanced around, suddenly aware that she was being watched. Cicilia... didn't budge.

  "...Go away." Cicilia grunted, turning back to her girlfriend. "...I don't want to work today."

  "GOOD!" Tris laughed, responding all too quickly! "Because you're not getting a rematch! EVER!" She placed her hand in the shape of an "L", sticking out her tongue at the German's back... to no reaction! As far as Cicilia was concerned, that was going to be the extent of their interaction for the day. She didn't know what kind of cruel cosmic force brought them together today, and she didn't really much care. She was on a DATE with Yumi and no half-brained red-headed dog was going to ruin it.

Before Cicilia could return her attention fully to her girlfriend, however, the lights in the place dimmed! Cicilia looked around, confused, annoyance dancing across her face!

"Oh, what now...?" She growled.

"HAHAHAHAHA!" A ancient, scratchy voice echoed through the dark! Suddenly, all the lights focused on one person, a large older woman sitting upon a throne!

"What the...? Where did she..." Cicilia stammered, flabbergasted!

"SO! MY main fighter was kidnapped by aliens!" The woman proclaimed! Cicilia stared, wide-eyed, utterly confused!

"Who... What..." Cicilia muttered, scratching her head. She turned to one of the other patrons. "Who the hell is THIS!? Is she NUTS?"

"Oh! That's the owner of this chain of clubs!" The patron explained! "Her name is Donatela Squala!"

"And what did she say about aliens-"

"SO!" Donatela continued, her voice booming over the club! "...I need new fighters!" She looked at both Tris and Cicilia, the eyes of a predator peering through dark-lensed glasses. "If you two fight in the main event, I'm paying 20k each!"

Suddenly, it was as if all the air got punched out of Cicilia's lungs! She staggered back, and gasped, blinking rapidly.

"Twenty... thousan...." She muttered. Never before had she SEEN that much money, let alone get paid it all at once for just fighting! NOT EVEN WINNING, JUST PUTTING ON A SHOW! SO many problems could be solved with 20,000 dollars... she wouldn't have to worry about rent for MONTHS! Slowly, Cicilia turned back to Yumi who smiled sharply, already fired up!

"You can do it!" Yumi declared, already falling into the spectacle of this bizarre event! "Let's go, Cici! You show her what you're made of!"

"Uh... Yeah... okay..." Cicilia, still in a daze, nodded at her girlfriend. She guessed... this was what she was doing now. Well! Losing wasn't an option now, was it? She wasn't about to screw this up, not in front of Yumi! Cicilia and Tris stepped into the ring, Cicilia's hands tucked deep into her jacket pockets.

"So, you're not gonna run away?" Tris scoffed, popping the knuckles of one hand in the grip of the other! "I thought you weren't working today!"

"Changed my mind." Cicilia smirked. "I think I could use some overtime."

"Same... not gonna lie." Tris commented dryly, nearly throwing the German off once more. An odd moment of humanity from someone so callous.

"...And besides..." Cicilia continued. "...This time, I can grapple. Hope you got even tougher since our last fight..." Cicilia raised a hand, SNAPPING it into a fist so quick, it sounded off like the CRACK of a whip! "...'Cause you're gonna need every drop of strength you can muster."
