Ain't that just like a n00b. Bringing an Ice Pokemon to a Fire Fight...May or may not have been inspired by an encounter while playing Pokemon Black. Emboar's "Heat Crash" will cure what ails ya. Well, most of the time, anyway...

Well, you did "poke-inize" a great line from a great actor in one of my favorite flicks, so...I guess I'll share my

I almost thought the little white thing was something you made up, honestly. I mean, lookatit! It looks like someone put an aghast expression on their "soft-serve" and left it out on the field! Then again, who am I to criticize character (wobbuffet) design.
The action lines surrounding the scene like a porcupine of ACTION! really bring in the focus and intensity, while the blur effects show the momentum and velocity. That hot mess there certainly shows his confidence with the grin that goes up the side of his face and the leery stare.
The exclamation point is superfluous, is the only thing. Soft-scream's exaggerated expression there does the job. Giggly little piece rendered well.

originally I'd planned to have Emboar on fire (since it's HEAT CRASH) but I couldn't seem to make flames look right in photoshop. Therefore, speed lines!

Yeah, that would have been tricky--making his outlines translucent while coating everything in an orange haze...? That would be the kind of effect that would ruin an otherwise valid drawing attempt by me!
