Nintendo eShop commission for - Part 1He wanted Anna from Frozen... to start off my art in a new direction... I went with Bruce Timm's art style, because his style is very simple to draw and this already got me off to a good start and will apply this style to all anime characters from now on. I don't even need to trace his style, I got this in the bag. I know it by heart thanks to my love for BATMAN. Bruce Timm's style is a great influence.

A return to old form, glad to see you're moving on and are learning from your mistakes. Though a word of advice, the Batman animated approach to ideas doesn't work well for most characters. It looks out of place and, like is the case for this pic, makes the characters look very overly aggressive.

Thank you and sorry to be rude, but what makes you think they are out of place? I would've drawn her smiling but that emotion was overrated as hell and the reason she's annoyed (not overly angry) is because she got trapped in ice by Elsa

But this is more on the overly aggressive form of annoyed, borderline psychotic (not helped that those are probably Harley's eyes). The eyes for the animated series were always designed to be almost mask like on purpose because of the fact that nearly everyone with them was masked or such, but when it came to "normal" people in the series the effect was toned down a little to at least make the eyes look a little more natural. Slapping the "mask eyes" on a normal face like this makes them really stand out as outlandish and out of place. The same stand out nature could be said for the lips given that the colour isn't one natural for the character being used on.

You're right about the lips, don't worry I have plenty of emotions to work with besides the commissioner told me to do batman style with his OC's from before... I assume he wants the same for these commissions. If it's what he wants, he shall receive.
