Eowyn on the Fields of Pelennor.Well this was going to be a contest entry, but I couldn't finish it in time for the contest. Real life decided to get in the way.
Graphite on paper.
How long did this take, let me think... the length of Face of Evil, and the Robots of Death, + 2.5 hours. So that's roughly...6.5 hours.

This is beautiful. Your penciling skills are always surprising. I see your work grow and evolve. Very nice. I particularly like how you managed to render the light and the texture on the helm specifically where the light strikes the nasal guard.

I highly recommend getting some (or at least watching some) of the old shows. They have something that the new episodes are missing...I can't quite pin it down....

Um...I had a really hard time with them. Something about them actually made me ill, I don't know it was. Because of that, I almost never tried this new series. But now I'm trying to go back and catch some older ones, specially the ones with Tom Baker.

Eeeh! Fantastic! I love the texture you got on her helmet -it really looks like metal that's taken a few batterings. And her eyelashes, I particularly like her eyelashes.
Also Eowyn is just awesome. Favourite LotR character ever.
