These were sort of maybe a little based off the idea of magical radiation- specifically magics like Twilight's and Discord's staying so frequently in the vicinity of Ponyville, causing some mutations and odd abilities in unborn and young foals. Other magic like Ahuizotl's and Luna's and Celestia's can also cause this type of effect, but I suspect the citizenry of Canterlot are a bit better at hiding their oddities.

KEEPING Turnabout Fairplay
This pony has had it hard their whole life- even walking, though second nature to every other pony, presented a number of challenges. Due to this, they've developed both an adaptive nature, as well as a good sense of humor
Their cutie mark is more or less focused on fulfilling karma! In a sort of Pinkie-sense fashion, they can tell when someone is very overdue for either good karma, or very very bad karma, and they are more than happy to oblige!

CLOSED Floaty Globe
Floaty is rather strange in appearance, but can be quite charming! They have no eyes, or part of their ankles, but that just helps them make as much of an impression as possible!
They currently run a very popular talk show called 'Get to the Point', where they pull no punches in asking the tough questions!

CLOSED Topsy and Turvy (tentative, might keep- I really like them ;v; )
These conjoined twins are make quite an impression! They are able to hear one another's thoughts, and see an extra color they call Smud.
Quite awkward in conversation, they struggle with social anxiety, but are pushing their boundaries and supporting one another and getting better and more confident every day
