So I started my first official DnD campaign and I'm a bard. Because I can't conceive of myself doing anything else.
I couldn't be a skeleton (mega oof) or any type of cool race (triple oof) so I'm a hill dwarf instead, but that's cool.
This is Short John Manganese.
He is a cook, and a bard.
He has a long-handled, cast-iron pan that counts as a bludgeoning weapon bc it was my birthday at the start of the raid.
He's proficient in the hurdy gurdy ( sharkhorsereblogcity.tumblr.co…), the nightmare instrument ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=1lTYPv…) and kazoo ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=L1nVYk…)

He's wearing a corset that would pass as a vest unless you squint at it, fishnet stockings bc my teammate mistook the checkered socks I was drawing for fishnet stockings and heck if I'm letting that life choice pass him by, and finger-gloves. It's like the opposite of fingerless-gloves
He's chaotic good, and the single personality I wrote down is 'Obnoxious'
He picked up a rat he found in the kitchen and now it's his rat. He's not a familiar but he does help cook.

In our first fight against skeletons (D''': ) he used vicious mockery and tasha's hideous laughter and bane to wipe out their defense and self-esteem while the gnome knee-capped them and the ranger """""sneak-attacked""""" from directly in front of them.
Afterwards he collected the skulls and teeth for bartering and an occasional snack in the future.
He hit on a hawt wizard that is also on our ship and then fricked off to make dinner for the crew.
I can tell I'm going to have the best time with this guy.
