I CAN'T WAIT TO LOOK BACK ON THIS IN LIKE 7 MONTHS AND BE LIKE 'DANG THAT'S SO NOOBISH'
I'm pretty proud of this
I think for a first try I was pretty brave and I did a pretty good job 
So anyway here's my take on the demon Asmodeus from the Book of Tobit
Since the demon seems at once capable of intelligent thought like man (his scheme to break Sarah down by consistently murdering her husbands), but driven endlessly by base instincts of lust (over Sarah) like an animal, I chose a bonobo as the main form.
The "Tail" is a poisonous viper, and his crown symbolizes his status as the prince of the second level of hell (2 out of 7 levels).
His prop is Sarah's 7 bridal veils tied to a rope that he drags behind him.
My intended audience is adults, and my medium would be graphic novels or comic books.

Wow Tab! thoroughly impressed with your work on this guy! I really admire all the extra work you did putting thought and exploration into this design! I'd love to see a full spreadsheet of this so I could almost comment on this as a whole but I'll do it here for the sake of. I think this is my all time favorite piece from you. Pose is so well thought out and sharp. The anatomy is fun and playful I always love your style for that reason, the way you stretch and exaggerate features like the smile is just very, you very fun. Those colors though, man those knock it out of the park I would say the most. That blue in the piece just steals the show especially with your smoke effects. I'm very jealous of how damn good that looks. This better be a portfolio piece, I think it's the start of some truly amazing works.

What can I do to improve on my paintings in the future?

The only thing that I would say that might challenge you a bit is to try and phase out the lines as you move further into your works. As the sketch line work in the painting will be something that leaves pieces feeling unfinished. This or I would say committing to linework is the other choice, meaning if you want to leave them I would suggest painting in your line work as well. However experiment! That’s always the most fun part about pieces like this! I think you got the tools and the talent to create the pieces you want at this point! I’m excited to see what you’ve got in store!
