I finally found what I think is a good jumping off point for two very good characters of mine:Here are their names from pre-2015 when I believed that all the '[some language] name' sites told the truth about what the names meant
Scythe --Russian/Romanian Maksmilian Afanasii Czernobog (‘The greatest rival’, ‘immortal’, ‘black god’)
Miramel --Primus Sicarius ('First Assassin' in Latin)
