On a bit more of a personal note, I've been trying to mess with two very old characters of mine.
I'm extremely torn about keeping them mostly true to how they were, or trying to branch out into better, more fitting designs for my current skills and style. I just can't seem to find something that feels right.
Their original pictures are the small ones- and they're from 2015 and before.

The one on the left is Winchester, and the one on the right is Miramel. Miramel was actually the first character I made purposefully as an OC. I'd drawn all sorts of original stuff before, but she was the first character I made thinking 'this is an original character- I can do whatever I want! She's my character!'

Miramel was a soulless vampire corpse brought to life by an unholy wizard, whose only purpose was to murder and destroy as a taller, skinner, scarier version of herself called Primum Sicarius (First Assassin in Latin woo~~~). She's pretty much a blatant ripoff of toothless, but with fur. She too has a hidden mouth/teeth, and a disc-shaped head. She is very grumpy, guarded, and doesn't believe that good things will happen.
Winchester is a forest spirit, the essence of life itself, and the perfect foil to Miramel's constant, bleak pessimism. He's cheerful, lively, kind, and very loving.
They were my only OTP for a while, as I enjoyed Winchester drawing Miramel out of her Tsundere shell

So yeah, I've tried to revamp them a number of times, and this is the latest try
