Wow - eyecatching shot! Very nice indeed with that strip of black and then the amazing colours above and below. The rays going upwards are really the icing on the cake! Well done! (From a Perth girl.)

Well Thank You --I seem to be getting some amazing colours in my Sunset over water shots lately--& recently there's been smoke about from a burnoff so the sunsets have been incredible

That's wonderful. I'm so pleased that you are finding those colours. Burnoffs (safe ones!) can be a blessing to the trained eye

We've never experienced a Wet. Hubby keeps saying he'd like to go to Darwin for one but we haven't made it yet. We might avoid the build up by the sound of it. Don't want to go troppo on holidays LOL

Nope missed me by 2000km--Yasi on the other hand was TERRIFYING--Thankfully it was only Sound --it went over me 2000ft up!!--virtually no damage but no power for a week--

Glad about the floods missing you - much further south then. We were on Lindeman Island until 23rd (ish LOL) Nov and got rained on a lot but thankfully were home before the worst hit. Yasi would have been something else - makes me shudder to think of it. I'd have to build a bomb shelter if I lived in the cyclone zone I think. We're planning the grey army thing in 5 or so years time. I'll just have to be brave LOL
