Painting I did for AP art. Since school is over, I've decided to put up some of my traditional work up here.Wet road around sunset time. This painting was sold at a local exhibition.

You did a jolly good job of rendering light and atmosphere, it is no wonder someone bought it. There's the hint of voilence in your brush strokes, which I like.

your school has AP art? wow, wish I could go there. Is this more a result of your personal practice or from school education?

AP art is kind of like a college independent study course where we get to pick out our own concentration and do a body of work exploring that subject. Even before AP started, I wanted to study how to render light and atmosphere since I felt I was pretty bad at turning color into the expression of light, so AP just gave me a convenient chance to work on it.
