Particularly liking the way you've done the tail and the feet. I think the style is a little inconsistent atm, but for what it is meant to be, only a short amount of time to look complete and all, i think it's going in the right direction. The body and the neck look almost overworked, like you were struggling to keep it simple or weren't sure how you wanted that to look. The wings also look a little controlled compared to the tail. I especially like the hair on the tail and the feet though, it looks really ...like, an old illustration, but contemporary at the same time, somehow. Almost looks like you did this with a really washed out fountainpen or ink on a quill or something.

Yeah I wasn't certain on how to do the body. I had the technique for the neck in my mind but haddn't quite done the strokes required for it to come out right yet. I Didn't actually like the feet xD I know I can do them better D: The hair on the tail is the best part for me xD but I can't have everything as sketchy as that, it only works on the hair because it's as undefined as it is. I need some sharper focal points, without them taking too long. I was fairly confident that I could do the metal pipes in the ribs right but I don't think they turned out well. The style inspiration is from Henry Yan

Haha, depends what you consider complete to be. I know I could detail the fuck out of it, but it feels complete as an artsy sketch too. Thankyou!

It's gotta be nice to do something simpler like that compared to your other stuff once in a while x)

Oh my goodness this is so dynamic and full of action! The spread of his wings and flowy bits along with those tensed outspread claws show so much movement. ;o; I seriously have got to start saving for something bigger from you. Man I love this so much. <3

When you've only got about an hour to work with and you're forte is with scrutinising over detail, you've got like... NO TIME to do that. I figure it's best to focus on dynamism which is easier to do and gives a better result than a detailed static headshot. I'm glad it worked. Thankyou again! ( I don't know how many times I've said that to you now xD )

You've definitely got a knack for movement! And I understand what you mean about the static headshot compared to a simpler styled yet active rendition. I'd much rather see something 'move' than just stare at you. It give you an idea of how that character might behave and get around! A great example would be the crocodile creatures in your gallery, the ones thrashing around in the water.
