This was my first attempt at a CD cover for a new band named Requiem for the Dead. They found a different image but liked the feel of the image, I will post the final image next.Sources.

very cool. I like the theme and the colors you chose as well. I personally feel like the overlaying texture is a bit less integrated into the picture then others have been. More slapped on top, but none the less I like your elements and what you are reaching for. Great job!
