Description
I made my own makeshift light box and wanted to do something really quick to test it out. And I also wanted to play around with clothing and wind and such. So I made this little looping animation.Could have been better, I think, but whatever. At least it got me back into the art flow.
Oh, and I'm putting it in the gifs folder, even though it technically isn't one.

You know what, after having watched this loop for a couple of minutes, it has a hint of epicness in it. It's the way she stands, with that cloud in the background.
I thought about it, and it kind of gave me an idea of the following situation:
It feels like I'm looking at the world of Fallout 3, right as the first nuke strikes. And your watching from the eyes of this girl, as she stairs off into the distance as the nuclear cloud rises up. Added with how you can only hear the wind and all. Kind of a dark thought, but it just reminds me of the sort of thing you'd see in a move/game trailer before something terrible happens. The calm before the storm and such.

Yeah, that's kinda the feel I was going for. Not necessarily something bad is going to happen, but the "anticipation" aspect of it.

I think tweening would probably have been better, but that isn't the point I guess! lol Yeah, I bought a light-box a while back and I must say I absolutely love it. I just haven't used it for good as of yet.

You bought one? How much did it cost? Heh, mines a box with a hole cut in the top, a lamp on the inside, and a piece of glass put over it. Works pretty good though.

You can find them online for like 20 bucks up to hundreds. I got mine during a sale at Hobby Lobby. I don't have anything anymore to make my own, so I broke down and bought one.
