What an interesting capture. The composition makes the boy seem so large and strong, but at a second glance when you notice that he's perched on his father's shoulders, he then seems small and unaware. You sure have a knack for capturing those special moments.

A great shot, however, the bw processing is somehow wrong, not sure how you processed it but I use the channel mixer and change it to monochrome that way with a channel mixer layer, try the figures 16% 84% and 14% and see how it looks then.

Fay, tell me what you mean by the bw processing is wrong... I'd be interested in knowing why it doesn't look right to you... I actually do use a technique that is based around the channel mixer. It uses about 3 layers and allows you to use one slider to mix the channels while keeping all the values addiing up to 100%.

Ok, its the tone of the face, somehow it seems too dark, almost dirty. Its hard to explain but the skin tone just isn't right..... well that is only my opinion of course.
