A simple, inexpensive but reliable and accurate semi-automatic striker fred combat pistol with a double stack magazine, designed with self defense in mind. The CPS 24, just like most other H&C products, have a reputation for beeing extremely reliable even in the harshest conditions and almost impossible to break.
Like on most modern weapons the trigger guard on H&C produced guns is large enough to accomodate the often quite large gloves of environmental suits, necessary to survive on many frontier worlds ... or in a vacuum. Many shooters are quick to point out that H&C overdid it on thier pistols though.
