A machine pistol variant of the M6 Action pistol chambered in 6.2x29mm polymer cased telescoped cartridge.

The M6 Alert is an answer to the very limited success of the M6 Storm and rather than trying to compete with much heavier fully automatic compact PDWs, the Alert is a rather lightweight pistol and "only" equipped with a 2-round burst trigger group to make it slightly more controllable.

This weapon is not supposed to be a principal combat weapon in a prolonged firefight but rather a handgun with the added ability to put 2 rounds into the armored skull of a particularly determined augmented attacker, of course the shooters ability to control the weapon properly in burst mode is paramount in that equasion, making it an experts gun (preferably an augmented expert at that). Only relatively few of these guns are made and almost exclusively sold to private security companies.

The M6 series features the rather unique COF push-button slide lock/release introduced with the M4 pistols.

The M6 Alert is slightly heavier and more complex than the standard M6 Alert, due to an internal rate reducer build into the proprietary grip frame.
