i like the detail on the fur, eyes, and glow, but the hind leg thats fully visible looks a bit off, the placement makes it look like its wounded and Umbreon is being tender about having it contact the ground, or perhaps has a stomach ache and its pushing the leg against the pain to try and warm and relax the ache.

I really like how you set the eyes in this little guy's face.. They actually look like a part of the face, and not seperate. Also more realistic then you normally see. ^^ Beautiful fur and background too!

I never thought about it, but it'd be really hard to hunt or hide as an Umbreon, not exactly convincing camouflage they've got.

They've got psychic and dark attacks some of which never miss, so I guess unless they're hunting strong Pokémon they're on the safe side. Hiding... I guess they can put out the glow but it wouldn't look so good in a picture.

Ahaha I bet, I was just musing aloud, I guess a lot of pokemon have horrible natural camouflage, unless a pepto truck crashed, Jigglypuff would stick out like a sore thumb.

It's certainly cute and sad, but if you do what I did (load in photoshop, use the Levels tool), it starts to look more like an expression of "aagh! The light is too bright"

Not only is a beautiful... it almost seems like the glow is emenating from the skin and not just the fur. That puts and interesting idea for Umbreon in my mind, thanks (unwitting or no, thanks anyway) Stunning, the eyes are definately very expressive. And I love the leafy bush and the twiggy weed for some reason ^_^ well-done. A spectacular thank you peice.
