Of course this is in the Adopted Mufasa AU.

Now Mheetu, I could just take it easy and go make him another Sarafina X Rando baby. But this AU, I wanted to go by the other random account.

- First Path -

Which the account said that Mheetu was Simba’s brother instead.

Which would be fun! Simba with a brother, and I’m all for it. Except one problem.

I can’t see a way for Mheetu to actually survive to adulthood with that. Unless like Simba he grew up far away from his home.

Scar wouldn’t want Mheetu to live, cause he’d be considered next in line. And we already know what he’s willing to do to get to the throne. Which means he either dealt with Mheetu before Stampede, or sometime after it.

But! Design wise, I basically just looked at traits of Sarabi and Mufasa, and gave him traits Simba didn’t have. Not as long of a face, brown nose, pale eye rings (?), etc. Probably also has uncolored paws to help him stand out more from his brother. His mane is taken from Simba concept art.

Kind of makes him look like Kopa. Eh who knows maybe he’s Kopa’s dad if I go this route.

- Second Path -

This one is a bit more out there, but I decided to go the route of him not being the sibling to Simba or Nala. With this option he is the firstborn son of Scar and Zira.

Of course Zira in this AU got an age boost, and is the sibling of Strange Lion instead his daughter. But back to the point.

He’s the same age as Simba and Nala, and was basically raised by the Pride. Mostly Sarabi and Sarafina.

Zira no matter my verse isn’t going to be a great parent. I feel as though she sees her kids as tools. Just ways to further herself in the world. Scar is… something. He probably doesn’t like kids, but he can handle them somewhat.

Mheetu when he’s born is a distraction at the time. Distracting his parents from achieving their goals. So best to let the Pride take care of him. It was their duty to do as the Royals wanted anyway.

But when Scar does become King, they do try to get close to Mheetu. To mold him into the perfect successor. It just disappoints them cause by that point Mheetu doesn’t really see them as his parents. Preferring to be groomed by his Aunt and Sarafina, to rest by their side, to coddle up with them.

It really eats at Scar and Zira.

Eventually after so long of trying, they decide “screw him” and to have another kid. Nuka, who may be sickly and weak, but he could potentially-!

They decided to maybe try again, and Nuka like Mheetu is shuffled between the Pride. Though this time they’re aware enough to make sure he’s still loyal to them. Does that make Vitani Scar’s kid? Maybe, I haven’t decided exactly. It could be possible I guess, though she never gets to meet the dude.

Mheetu kind of ends up wondering around, he had no purpose in the Pride since he wasn’t the suitable heir. He would end up visiting though at the very least. He maybe meet his younger brother, but never Vitani. At least not for a while.

More on him cause unlike the other Mheetu I can see this guy actually living. Design wise, I made him a clone like Simba, but threw in some little features to set him a part from his dad.

I’m going to go with one of them, I just can’t decide between the two unfortunately. One route with possibly dead boy to show how much Simba’s family lost, and the other route to make things interesting.

Not sure! I’ll either decide eventually, or let you guys decide. But for now I’m done.

I will not post anything else for a while. I shall not post or draw anything for a little bit. Unless my attention is still being grappled like it has the past couple days in which case expect something.

Also I need to learn how to make folders on mobile, that or get on some computer to make an extra folder. Wanna make a folder just for this AU so it isn’t with the Main one (&:’smamamam
