First portrait with coloured pencils!
After a while I really regretted deciding to draw the pattern on his shirt. I shall avoid it in the future ._. Natural textures are much more fun.
About 17 hours. Faber castell colour pencils & Derwent graphite pencils on A4 Canson Bristol Board.

I can imagine that the shirt pattern might not have been much fun to draw.. but I think it turned out great! It's one of those subtle things that no one notices unless something's gone wrong

Wow, this is great! I love that its both photorealistic, but not so photorealistic that you lose the pencil strokes. Love the dimention you've given this with your shading and shadows. And i think the pattern looks fine. ^_^ Well done!
