Description
First portrait with coloured pencils!
After a while I really regretted deciding to draw the pattern on his shirt. I shall avoid it in the future ._. Natural textures are much more fun.
About 17 hours. Faber castell colour pencils & Derwent graphite pencils on A4 Canson Bristol Board.

Reference used, form the Kami no Shizuku (神の雫) photo book. (I've used references from that photo book a lot, actually xD)

I really like the different tones you used on the skin and shirt, you didn't just stick to ones too similar, and it gives it this freaky good feel, idk how to describe it, drawing patterns is a bitch, I'm not drawing a very hard pattern right now, just the cross-hatched texture of a suit, and it is still hell for me >.>

Not only does the details are extremely realistic, but the skin tools are very accurate and well defined. 17 hours well spent.

Wow, that is absolutely amazing. Colored pencils! I don't see very many well done pieces in colored pencil.. maybe that's just me?
