Description
I present to you the third piece of my gem series. This was a though one. Red isn't a colour I feel very comfortable with. I actually started this before Sapphire waves - but just couldn't get around to finishing it. I feel somewhat content now, I fear I'll have an urge to change it around when I see it tomorrow though, heh.
All of the pieces of the series:
Shores of gold
Sapphire waves
Birth of a ruby
Calcentine Abyss
Enjoy.

This reminds me of Fire, swiftly moving through the night sky.
I really love your coloring here, you've got such a unique way of making everything look! The stars in the sky shine so wonderfully. And look great against the dark red. Love the planet put there as well, it has nice detail on it. The bright red moving across the screen is really a nice touch, the look and feel of it adds so much to the picture! Wonderful job on this! It's very beautiful ^^

I love the dark and intense red hues! Shores of gold is still my favorite of the series, but this is really close.

It's been years since I did a "red" space scene, though I think the small amount of orange makes this one a lot nicer than pure monochromatic red alone. I like how the nebula seems to curl around and then go back to where the brightest area is, just adds a little bit of extra depth
