Mordecai and Lilith are my OTP. ♥ I've.. never loved a not-original pair as much as I love them. Wtf has gotten into me?
(And yeah, I had second thoughts about him being maskless in this, since after I did the base sketch I did the maskless sketch in my gallery, now it makes me seem like I can't draw it, which I can. ]: I just didn't want to go back and reline/color it fff. I'd already lined enough. )
This was originally a derpy doodle I did, but then it got bigger.. and bigger.. I know it's full of errors, namely missing little pieces and details/placement, and other whatnot like lighting, but I'm relatively happy with it, nevertheless. Looks better in full, btw, but you didn't need me to tell you that hurhurr.

I adore this picture.
Mordecai and Lilith were always, always a much better pairing than Roland and Lilith in my eyes. It is strange how 2K Games (or whoever) chose Roland and Lilith... If I was to take a serious guess... I'd say they'd probably were going for the surprise factor in thinking that by choosing what everyone least expected, they would impress them or something like that.
It's so weird for how a lot of game developers don't actually listen to the fans.
That, and the personalities of Mordecai and Lilith were far more compatible anyway.

<3<3<3 So cute. My friend plays Lilith and I play Mordi. I think I am not able to change to another character after we get lvl 50 because I love him so much XD (and Bloodwing, I felt so bad when we had to shot all those bloodwings on Dr. Neds Zombie Island ;_

VERY romantic. It does seem Moredcai/Lilith shipping is rather big in Borderlands fandom. Then again the game gives a lot of room for imagination to play!

Man, that makes me happy, I really think the two have a huge amount of compatibility and chemistry, it works out nice in my head. sdkjfn It's funny because when I first got into the game everyone was big on Mordi/Brick, I don't even know why.. lmao. D: Guess people like to slash for the sake of it and not for chemistry, I dunno. Def agree on the imagination bit, that's whats great about open-ended plots like that. :> Really glad you liked it!

Borderlands is amusing in that the characters are not overly well characterized, but there are "bits" in there that you can work with. I'm biased to Mordecai, of course, as I play him, but he has some great lines.
