Description
11: MemoryNot much to say in the way of inspiration - old fashioned, and rather pretty. Oddly enough, I really don't like this time period very much, but that's just me - I think it's because I look ridiculous in it
1890's-turn of the century walking outfit (yes, mildly inspired by *Janes-Wardrobe 's most recent submission) which strikes me as a memory of a long lost time, but not forgotten. My family still has pictures of my Great Great Grandmother in similar clothes, we just need to find them... so, a memory, a picture, of times long past, but definitely still "recent"...

That's because they're amazing! Picture hats are the greatest thing in the hat-world since... well, perhaps the top hat You can do so much with them, and they're so pretty in all settings - if I could figure a way to wear them regularly, I would
(snow doesn't work very well with them, unfortunately~)

nor windy days either. i also really like those 1920s hats where they have a really small brim (i think thats what its called) with a giant feather just sticking out of it. feathers and hats are amazing!

I love that there was such a thing as a walking outfit, clothes designated specifically for walking. The umbrella is a really cute touch

We used to have one, but it got moldy.
No idea how that happened either.

i always thought i'd look great in this period of fashion. i wouldn't even have to wear padding as i have a huge rear and a small waist not to long ago saw a video of me from the back. i'd never seen my butt before and it came as quite a shock! it looks like i have padding in my pants cause no one could have a can that big! *needs this dress to cover cover up the facts!
<---wonder if this is possible

Wow, I just love all the little buttons and lacy sleeves! Not a hat-fan but this one is stunning, I love the shape of the back to the top.
