Coral was left on the doorstep of the Nook with only a tattered blanket and a seashell necklace to remember her parents by. She grew up well mannered and always ready to help around the Nook, though often teased by the others for being overly sensitive and tearing up at the slightest irritation in someones voice. She's considered anxious and nervous, but loyal and thoughtful, always willing to stand up for her friends at the drop of a pin. Despite holding a grudge against the parents who left her (And refusing to go by her given name, instead going by her nickname Cory) Cory finds comfort in the seashell necklace that she's known her whole life, and never takes it off.

her name is shelly! She loves to sail around on her boat uvu and her parents gave a shell necklace to her when they wrre about to die out sea, so they made a chest to put the egg in and the water wont get in the chest
