Description This was the project I was mentioning in earlier journals. I probably shouldn't have been working on this late at night when exhaustion could lead to incidents with an x-acto blade >_>;

There were some areas where too much glue was applied accidentally, hence the spots here and there of darker color.

Still, once I get the hang of this, would there be any interest in custom commissions and print reproductions (basically hand-made copies since they will have a template to work off of like this one does.) as well as cards? It was surprisingly meditative working on the piece, especially when moving in ways that my hand wouldn't waver on the long lines like the body and tail.

I'll likely also turn this particular piece into a part of a series with different python morphs. This color was just for fun.

Done withΒ  Prismacolor markers and pencils on cardstock paper.

I'd love to see a royal python variant hehe Β
Was someone doin' drakes with snake themes a while ago, super-cool to see asian/eastern dragons with snake influence too ^^

Edit to add, I'd love to have something like this to put up on my wall hehe <3

Did a search on royal pythons and I kept pulling up ball pythons, which is what I referenced for the markings on this one using the 'standard' morph variant. I'd need to figure pricing because of the time these took. I'll probably do batch print sales where I'll make a few copies at a time over individual orders.

Hehe, yeah I keep calling them royals now because my friend in the UK has one, and over there they call Ball Pythons 'Royal Pythons'. He named his Julius Squeasar Β

Ooh looking forward to that <3
Love your art, it's so inspirational ;v;

Aaaah, ok, that makes more sense!

Debating what morph to do next for them, maybe an albino or one of the fancier morphs?

Hmm, perhaps. The black speckling might prove a challenge to translate.
