My custom TIE Interceptor MOC here alongside the Lego set 75300 that provided the majority of the parts to build it. I wasn't happy with the proportions of the TIE in the set, but I thought it would be great to provide the parts to make a TIE Interceptor. I looked online for inspiration, to see if anyone else had done something similar, but all the examples I'd found had been done with tiny little wings, and didn't change the cockpit module at all. That cockpit, which looked less like a sphere and more like a lumpy cube to begin with, ended up just wrapped in tiny little wings..
I couldn't have this, so I overhauled the entire set, made the cockpit rounder, the struts like four studs longer, and went all out on the wings. I dare say I'm proud of the result.
