Being a life-long classic Trek fan, I can tell that you did your research on the uniform. Most folks these days present the female uniform with a flat collar, when it should be standing up- just as you have it. It's a small detail, but an important one when dealing with something as iconic as Classic Trek.

It's been interesting over the years of evolution of the Orion women. Even the original series that Orion women went from savages to something more intelligent and then finally "unspoken" equals. There were some mentions of there being "unusual" women among the Orion who were quite intelligent, even brilliant. One of the Next Generation books, there was a mention of a Orion scientist who was studying the Guardian and she had to "dress up" to be less appealing to the men around her.With the newer movies, they completely redid that all together.

Well, JJ Abrams did an ok job, trying to make a classic into something more relatable to today's audience. Just like so much has been done over the years. I thought I knew Star Trek pretty well ... Star Wars I have a basic understanding.
