I've decided to try my hand at pixels. I really enjoy making them (even though all I've ever made excluding this is emotes) and I think they can be just as awesome as digital drawings. I've always wanted to make my wolf characters but I suck at drawing, so this just might be the right door for that. :3 As one of my friends said, it might even help with drawing, so it's a double win.
Made this on GIMP, two-day time period. So maybe about 5-6 hours? The fur SUCKS, gah! D: I like the brown fur but the grey "fur" is awful. I have no idea how to make pixel fur and the tutorials on dA are either too advanced for me or too.. not what I'm looking for. I think I should've taken it easy on this. Maybe did solid-coloring instead of grey and brown, and also maybe started with a smaller model. I made the wolf lines myself though with a reference. But anywho, just some more experience. I'm going to continue to try making pixel wolfies and work on that damn fur. I also need major practice on shadows and lighting. Looks flat doesn't it?
