This was actually a birthday card cover that I made for my good friend Vicky. It's basically the inside of an antique watch that I cracked in half on accident. It took me 4 hours to draw and 30 minutes to ink. This is the closest thing I've ever drawn to be realistic.(c) Rudi Kazootie

I like the amount of detail in this piece. The cogs though detailed and crowded, they really add to the entire piece. The over detailing in rivets and joints are interesting. I also really like the line quality in the pic since its really crisp and clean. Well done on that.
For a suggestion, how about adding in ornate details into the white spaces like patterns or words. Adding this variance could actually help the piece circulate by the viewers eyes.
In the end, its cool and interesting.

Actually, I was going to add color to it, but decided not to. It did say "Happy Birthday Vicky" on most of the white spaces, but I used Microsoft Paint to "erase" the words. Glad you enjoyed it

Though not fantasy, I really like this piece. The line varyation gives a definate feeling of depth, and one can get lost in all of the little details.

you meant this one, right? iΒ΄m a sucker for old watches, i also made some of these with vectors (not allowed to upload it, rights are at the company). great work, what watchbrand was it? could be an IWC, but iΒ΄m not an expert lol (i dont assume that you are one, but maybe you still have it laying around somewhere lol)
