Description
C58 was a group name I came up for my friends and I back way back in middle school. It has no meaning, but i thought it sounded cool.''I did facial/portraiture studies today and did random Google searches. I do not know who these people are but i t hink I will adapt their facial features to the comic drafts I never finalized.
Each face took about 30-40 minutes. I also find it worth mentioning that they are all painted on 2 layers.

Hmmm. That's neat looking. The girl on the right looks especially interesting-- almost determined, or enigmatic. Not sure. Cool though!

Ah, well I am just really into the loose painting thing. I kind of just layer it on in the layer (via stroke). I dunno, I can't explain. But it works out. I only want lots of layers if I attempt backgrounds. Or try to make an atmosphere of some sort. Anywho, memory.. er, RAM, is key.. o_o

Niiiice! I'm a bit of a layer whore, so it's always fun to challenge myself to do something on a limited number of layers ( usually with no masks)

Oh, there's really nothing wrong with piling on the layers. infact, it can lead to some amazing work and depth. I just have very little memory LOL

I plan to make this a real comic someday. In the same fashion as movies, where real actors are hired in place of people even when the [pro/an]tagonists are still alive, I'll do the same. Nothing personal, it's just more marketable that way.

The hard lighting on the fourth portrait is great, it would be awesome to see similarly hard shadows in places.
