also have noted that in thumbnail view it looks great, it adds a level of intricacy to the cleanness of it. i could imagine a whole scene done in this style then reduced to look awesome.

I did use references, but not any of hers. I post references when possible. But I usually take multiple references from my own life drawings, music video/movie stills and god knows where. Rarely do I work from just one photo.
