I hate drawing perspective. You seem to have it down.

I've always hated it but just forced myself to get into it sometime in 2011. Give it a month, you'll probably get into it, too.

I watched the entire video. Great work! I loved seeing the layers being painted. The glass was really cool. You have an awesome eye for perspective! Do you use any reference photos?

I do. I tend to look at many different photos while I draw. Mostly for the perspective. I didn't use any reference while drawing the girl. Though, I do with other works. It really depends on how I'm feeling while I draw. Honestly, I think all artists use reference to some degree.. I think a good way to use it is to take bits and pieces here and there. Rather than copy an entire pose, see what you like in a photo, i.e. hand, shoulder, back, and translate that into your drawing somehow. Most poses I see in photos are never the ones I want in my drawing anyway, so I still have to change them when I'm drawing.

I agree, I do the same for human poses but or patience for architectural details and perspective is jaw dropping, your style makes it look fun -- maybe I could start practicing that.
