ooh nice! i like how her right hand is coming out and it reminds me of the way in which the real sphinx sits with its arms out in front of it. also, she seems to have an aged feel to her (not saying that she is old) that comes with living for eternity but not changing her appearance. i love the disturbing presence around her XD very beautiful *___*

This is hugely disturbing, immensely accompliced, and truly fantastic.
The elongated point of view makes an already wierdly strange subject very macabre.

Very creepy feel to this one. It's almost as if the perspective on her hands makes it seem as if her hands are closer to us when they really aren't (Because they're just large rather than being close to the 'camera'
It's really tripping me out. Gotta love it. Great textures too.

O M G. This is such a good painting! I haven't gone 'wow' in a true manner to a painting in ages. The perspective of the body and hands and how she's posed had a huge influence in that 'wow' factor. I love it! Red is my favourite colour, but I guess that's going a bit biased ; P
