Description The 'Leviathan', a German liner from 1914.

I can't read the sign in this picutre, so no history lesson.

Update: Thanks to RD-DD1843 for the info. The Leviathan was originally known as the Vaterland, and was renamed after being seized by the US in April 1917. She transported President Wilson and his advisors to Europe for the 1919 Paris peace talks.

Originally "The Vaterland", it was renamed by the U.S. government when we seized it in April 1917.  It is best remembered as the ship that transported President Woodrow Wilson and his advisors to Europe for the 1919 Peace talks in Paris.
