I finally got around to seeing the Once Upon a time-version of Beauty and the Beast. So much cute although I felt a bit sad it was all squished into just few short TV episode moments on a really glowy CG-set. But hey them's the budget limitations for you.It's supposed to be on telly this side of the pond "Spring 2012" on Channel 5. Looking forward to it even though it means I'll have to watch TV properly and not just on BBC iPlayer/4oD.

The only thing is that Belle has blue eyes, not brown eyes. Otherwise, amazing job drawing this! I love the pink and white colored background surrounding Belle contrasted by the grayish-purplish black background surrounding Rumple. It really shows the nature of their relationship; light and dark, innocence and corruption, and of course, the Beauty loving the Beast.
These two have been my favorite OUAT couple and OTP, since Rumbelle was first introduced in 1x12 (Skin Deep). Even now, after all the Rumbelle angst this past S4, they're still my favorite couple on OUAT and OTP. I know that Belle _does_ realistically deserve much better than Rumple, but it's just that they ARE true love; they always have been, even if Belle believed that power was Rumple's true love, rather than just his greatest weakness and addiction, in the heat of the moment. Rumple did make me want to slap some sense into him for consistently ruining things, like a major idiot when he had it good with Belle in 4A. Yet, how can I just hate him, not feel sorry for him, and just hope for him to get a happy ending when he's been cursed for the past 300 years, has such a bad self-esteem issues that he can't believe in the reality Belle's true love, and is just so broken? When he told Belle "Who could ever love me?" in that pawn shop scene during the S4 season finale, I was crying for Rumple again. I wish that I could hate Rumple because it would make things so much easier, but I just can't find it within myself to do so. In fact, Rumple's my favorite OUAT character. He's a character that I hate to love. I just hope that losing the curse can finally teach him a life lesson, and that he can earn a happy ending with Belle by learning to be a better man for her sake, and his own.
