I finally got around to seeing the Once Upon a time-version of Beauty and the Beast. So much cute although I felt a bit sad it was all squished into just few short TV episode moments on a really glowy CG-set. But hey them's the budget limitations for you.It's supposed to be on telly this side of the pond "Spring 2012" on Channel 5. Looking forward to it even though it means I'll have to watch TV properly and not just on BBC iPlayer/4oD.

I really like the simplicity in this one... the lines are so... free (I lack the better word) and colours are also done in a wonderful way that seems to be just... carefree and fun...

we don't get to have the tv iplayer in the americas, just the radio one. so you guys have a delay on when american shows go overseas like the delay we have on you guys's ones?

Yeah, depends on TV show and what channel this side of the pond buys the distribution rights etc. some really big ones like Game of Thrones and Heroes back in the day would only have like couple of days delay. Some, like now OUAT has taken several months to get started here. Thank goodness for the internet when there's things you really really want to see.

They haven't done a pinocchio episode yet but said the little mermaid would be one of them.
I hope they do an "Iron Hans" story themed episode but that fairytale is pretty obscure...
