Description

It's that time of year! Another series down, another attempt to make rangers for the aux mech.

This set looks best with the canon/show rangers in it, so here we go. The aux mech is included in parentheses.

Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger: Lupin X; Lupin White (Magic); Lupin Green (Cyclone); Lupin Blue; Lupin Red; Lupin Yellow; Lupin Black (Scissors); Lupin Crimson (Victory)

Keisatsu Sentai Patranger: Patren #7 (Siren); Patren #5 (Crane); Patren #3; Patren #1; Patren #2; Patren #4 (Biker); Patren #6 (Spalsh); Patren X

Making these realllly made me wish there are a couple more VS vehicles for each side so X would've been actually the tenth on either side, but oh well. So the colors were fun to slightly offset the teams. Lupins get the yellow-tinted green (ala Chameleon Green) and a slightly off-black with red trim (ala the Black Hyperforce Ranger). Pats get the feminine lighter blue (ala Zyuoh Shark) and a neon-ish yellow (ala...nobody, ha). I also made Patren #5 a big ol' bruiser and Lupin Black a lanky tall guy; why not?

Lupin White and Patren #6 are meant to be the "sixths" of their respective teams (X would still serve his double agent role) and as such get a little special treatment, basically being remolds of the Tricolor and Ugo suits with new chests. Their chests are based on the weapons these VS vehicles grant: Lupin White gets the arrow/bow (heh heh it's a bow-tie) and Patren #6 gets the fire extinguisher but without the nozzle that would have...fed into his crotch (in my head it's just moved to his back like an oxygen tank because of his motif).

Lupin Crimson and Patren #7 in my headcanon would be one-offs reserved to a movie where they'd probs die (I mean, cmon of course). That way the Reds and X could still use the armors.

Headcannon time:

Lupin Green is an acrobat to play into the twisting/propeller action of Cyclone; she lost her double-act partner. Lupin Black is a musketeer to play into blades/knight theme of Scissors; he lost his master/teacher. I was toying with the idea of having his visor folded up on one side and down on the other but nah. Lupin White is obviously a magician; he lost his assistant/wife. He gets stars on the interior of his cape and his visor/brim is sorta the shape of a crescent moon. Lupin Crimson is a high-flying daredevil pilot, hence the horn-like edges to his helemt; he lost the rest of his squadron/troop.

Patren #4 is a motorcycle cop who can find the fastest route to anywhere. Patren #5 is a stoic big guy who used to be in the recovery/rescue division (hence his neon-like coloring). Patren #6 is a firefighter-turned-cop which is why, although Splash is red, he gets a scarlet/orange-y color with a slightly remodeled visor top. Patren #7 was a soldier turned riot police officer, his helmet is meant to be shaped like a bulky army helmet.
