On to my next set of projects that I'll be tackling in the coming weeks or so. The battlizers from various Power Rangers series. Those things that Power Rangers introduced to simply sell toys. Some of the battlizers' designs are cool, some are beyond questionable, and as I understand it, lots of people don't like them. Oh well. I'm not fond of them, but I'll be making them anyway.This one here is the first of many, debuting in Power Rangers In Space, Andros/Red Space Ranger' Red Battlized Armor. This battlizer provides bulkier muscles, some digital bits in black, new boots, Hermes' wings on the feet, a weird drop-down visor thing, missiles, and of course, wings. Wings seem to be a very common occurrence with these battlizers. It's kind of a nice design, but basic compared to others as well. I will say this, the color scheme doesn't make my stomach turn. The same cannot be said for a certain few other battlizers.
As I said, the battlizers are my next project. I'll likely end up doing the few 'Mega Battles' as well. But not Casey/Jungle Fury Red Ranger's weird bike chest pad thing. That's not a battlizer, nor a mega battle, I will not be making it. Besides that, it's stupid and kills the great suit design of that series.

story line:
Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Andros the red space ranger was giving a wrist worn devise called the Battlizer gantlet in the episode titled The Delta Discovery. The gantlet has 3 powers that can b activated by pressing 1 of 3 # buttons. #01 is the Battlizer power
fist. This power grants the red ranger 2 power attacks. The 1st is the Battlizer chop which takes the form of the red ranger's fist glowing red and he does a jump karate chop which takes the form of him jumping in the air then he Executus
the chop, andΒ the 2ndΒ power attack is the Battlizer power punch which is a jump punch and it takes the form of the ranger jumping then he punches the enemy. #02 is the Battlizer laser blast which takes the form of a red laser that goes in
a circle formation. This attack was used only once and it was used 2 cut a net trapping him as well as the other rangers. #03 was not used until the episode titled Mission to Secret City and it's power takes the form of the Red Battlized
Armor. This armor comes in 2 modes. In mode 1 the red ranger has axes 2 new weapons and they r called the battlizer shield which takes the form of a red energy shield shaped like a circle, gravity generator worn on the left arm of the
ranger, a targeting computer which its the purple visor on the back of the ranger's armor, this is used 4 the battlizer missiles that can fired from the back of the armorΒ as well as the tip of the wings and they're also used 4 flight.Β in mode 2
the ranger can still fly only faster and the missiles r used 4 the final attack. The ranger can still use his primary weapon and it also has a new attack in the form of a red lightning sword splash which takes the form of the red ranger slashing
his spiral saber up and red lightning goes towards the enemy.

Yes...yes it is. I actually prefer the weird armor that the toys came out with, along with the mini comic. Those actually fit the battlizers, even though they were available to everyone except Lily.(even Jarrod had one)
Also, will you be doing the Red Dragon Ranger, Jason's upgraded form from when Tommy lost the Green Ranger powers, or will it be kinda pointless?

No, not a Strike Rider armor. It was describe on the package as a Battilized Beast MORPHIN' figure. It only came in Red, Blue, Wolf, Rhino, and Dai Shi Jarrod

excellent work as always. Say I'm curious, is this gonna be exclusively red ranger battlizers? Because I recall Chad and Joel from Lightspeed having one... of sorts, and Eric from Time Force having one

They were called Megabattles, Chad's and Joel's were made by Ms.Feirwether and her brother, and Eric was informed of his by a convenient transmission from the same mysterious benifactor (Alex) who sends the Shadow Whinger back in time

Anyways, nice job! Wasn't expecting this! The only battlizer I would've expected would be the SPD battlizer, as it appeared in Magiranger vs Dekaranger. Can't wait to see you make them all!

I actually always loved this Battlizer compared to any other; may be due to the nostalgia or the awesome way Andros transformed into it in the in Space/MMPR era finale. Great job on this.

I do like it, in that it feels kinda iconic because it's the first. And like I said, the colors aren't awful like some later battlizers are.

The Operation Overdrive is actually probably one of my least favorites. Too much gold, a color that's not on the Bouken/OO suits. And they just recolored Zuban, really. It seems kinda lazy to me.
