This is a big picture of the Power Rangers Samurai in their upgraded Mega Mode designs, as far as I know, just called Super Mega Mode. It goes alongside their power up for their standard (non-megazord) ranger suits that includes a long white cloak. You can see the power up here on my Samurai Sentai Shinkenger pic [link] .The Mega Mode power up here includes different torso armor and a completely new belt buckle. I do like how they turned out, and I hope these are accurate. There's even less to work on for these than when I made the normal Mega Mode suits.
On the bottom are various colors of the armor. The crimson and blue version on Red, Gold, and Green is called the Mega Shark Mode and is accessed when using the Shark Zord. I doubt Green and Gold will actually have this form in the show, but in Shinkenger, their counterparts used the Kyoryuu Origami (Shark Sword/Zord's counterpart), so I figured why not recolor them this way. Since none of the others used the Kyoryuu Origami in Shinkenger, I didn't recolor them this way.
The darkened version of the Red Ranger is based on the 'Gedou ShinkenRed' you can see at the link I shared at the top. ShinkenRed gets possessed or what not and gets a black recolor, so I thought I'd be cool to share what that might look like in a Mega Mode suit. I don't think it'll make an appearance in the show, but it'd be cool if it did. I like it.

Look at it. You can clearly see red all over the outer areas of the arms and body. Also, a 'Stealth Mode' doesn't really make any sense because they're in a huge Megazord.

I was VERY disappointed in how Saban renamed Kyoryuumaru and the Kyoryu Origami. I mean 'Shark Sword'? 'Shark Zord'? Why not the 'Saurus Sword'? How about that? That way they could have kept the term 'Hyper Mode'.
Seriously, I think that the last of the creativity and brainpower, that had previously gone into Power Rangers finally gave out with the plot of Power Rangers R.P.M.

Agreed about the whole Kyoryuu/Shark rename. Still irks me. It has feet, it runs. I think the American producers just like sharks. They'll name anything remotely close to a shark's shape a shark, you know. Birca, who was an orca and looks like an orca, was renamed a shark zord in RPM. They just want sharks.

Acually, Birca was renamed the Tail Spinner in RPM. It's a fish, but we don't know what type of fish.Β The show never outright stated if it was a shark or not.
Hell, Ziggy even states that he drives 'a big green fish'.

Yea, it happened. I think it's just Octozord though. Still, very obviously not an octopus. I don't know what they were thinking there. They really should stick to literal translations of the Japanese mecha/zords' names.

Yea Saban got the rights back after RPM. I think it's kinda disappointing just because most of us remember things fondly from our childhood. But Samurai is pretty god awful, haha.

Since Samurai is practically a carbon copy of Shinkenger, you can just find information on how Shinkenger wrote it and then you'll know how Samurai will introduce her.

Well, the only way they could possibly make it interesting enough to save PR Samurai, is if they have Jayden become the PR equivalent of Gedou ShinkenRed when Hime ShinkenRed shows up. That way we can have ShinkenRed vs. ShinkenRed.

I doubt that would happen. He's the hero. They won't make him antagonistic. They'll just follow along Shinkenger's story, Jayden will be replaced briefly, he'll do some soul searching, and come back.

The footage where Gedou ShinkenRed appeared has already been used when they had the brief crossover with the Red RPM ranger. I doubt they'll revisit it. We especially won't have the two reds face off against each other in the way you described, where one would be mind controlled. That won't happen.

Power Rangers doesn't ALWAYS run events parallel to Super Sentai. Take Power Rangers: Mystic Force/Maho Sentai Magiranger, for example. In Super Sentai, Wolzard Fire, and MagiMother were the parents of all five core Magirangers, with MagiShine being their teacher. In Power Rangers, Wolf Warrior and the White Mystic Ranger were revealed in the end to be not only husband and wife, but parents as well, just like their original Sentai counterparts. However, they only had ONE child: the Red Mystic Ranger. The other four, meanwhile, were perfect strangers, brought together with the Red Ranger (who, in contrast to Ozu Kai/MagiRed, didn't even BELIEVE in magic initially) by fate. Solaris Knight, although, kept MagiShine's role as Mentor and Sixth Ranger.

There's no need to post the same rant twice. While you're mostly right about PR not translating exactly from Sentai, Samurai has little to no differences plot wise so far. So as Samurai is right now, I wouldn't be surprised if the female Red Ranger is introduced the same way Hime ShinkenRed was.
Further, Mystic Force isn't too great of an example because of the very similar plots and whatnot. Some of the PR stuff was original, but that series was closer to its sentai counterpart than most have been. And yes only one Mystic Power Ranger was the son of Udonna and Koragg/Leanbow, pink and blue were sisters and not perfect strangers. I think the other four actually all knew each other pre-series and red was the only true stranger.

I doubt we will see dark samurai red since that was in the shinkenger/goseiger movie and it looks like they will be skipping Goseiger so that "Pirate Armada" is the 20th season (cause they are counting that stupid ass rework version of MMPR as the 18th season

We'll see. I doubt that Saban will skip any season though, because another season means toy sales. He's a money-maker businessman first, so that's what he looks at, not the continuity or number of seasons matching for a new season. Also, people are really jumping the gun with naming Gokaiger. We're likely going to get a Goseiger adaptation first, even if Saban is super slow at doing it.

just telling your what the rummors say aparently they cast mega force (goseigers US name) then contacted all the actors agents sayign they were doing something else so they would be re casting so the rumor started that they might be skipping Goseiger
