Description Just taking a quick break from Rider stuff.  Here's the power up armors for the five core Toqgers they can access with the Hyper Ressha.

From magazine preview/scans we see the above forms.  I assume they may be able to use the Hyper armor independently of one another, but until such a thing is shown in the series, I'm sticking with the combined armor here.  Plus, the combination armor is actually pretty funny.  I'm glad that's what has been shown rather than them using it on their own.  It makes the series more unique.

Everything here is my hard work. Please don't touch anything without permission. Thanks.

No, they got stuck together.

As of now, yes.  They have not used it independently of one another.

From watching some of the episodes where they used the hyper ressha, the only way the others can use this armor is if it's knocked off Rights hand or if they just simply swiped it from him. Makes me wonder if Right  can let the others use it or wants to keep it for himself and I know it was intended for him, I was just curious

Fair point.  I'm sure it's more along the theme of the core five being children, so maybe not always knowing how to share or properly ask permission.  Maybe?

Tokkyu 5 & 3 in the Hyper Mode was somewhat weird by having both heroines in this mode, and in one suit XD

"In that same vein, I will only make a Hyper #6 if it is revealed later on he can use it.  Since #6 can't change lines like the core team, I assume he can't use the Hyper Ressha/armor." Some time I read that some guy hacked the toys and got the sound Hyper ToQ 6, maybe he can do it but he doesnt

Hehehe, that's funny.  Using it at the same time, so they get them conjoined together.

Hmm, this is just a thought.  But wouldn't you say their armor kinda seems like something similar to Jungle Fury Red's Strike Rider chestplate?  Y'know, with where it's placed on them, being bulky, and all?

Anyway, nice job.

Taiko554 In reply to Andruril93 [2014-10-14 23:30:47 +0000 UTC]

The only similarity is their bulk.  There are a bunch of other armors that are bulky as well, so I'm not sure why you compared this to only that one.

The girls being conjoined in the hyper mode is sorta creeping me out a bit.

That kinda gets addressed in the episode it happens, where Kagura/Toq #5 says something along the lines of "don't worry about how it looks".

It when I first saw it that sort of spooked me a bit, but I'm over it. Still looks good.

I was about to comment on th girls looking off due to the 2 wheels instead of 3, then i read - good thing i read- cause at first i  didn't realize they shared the armor.

Their closeness and extra shoulder armor didn't give that away?  Have you not seen the episode yet?

kram-elbog In reply to Taiko554 [2014-10-14 11:02:35 +0000 UTC]

At first glance I just thought they were standing next to each other, after i read the description and looked at it a second time i noticed the combined shoulder armor. As for seeing the episode, unfortunatly i've fallen bhind due to just being busy away from my computer.

I wouldn't think it would work too well, since it would then be three different ressha trains that had to go through the changer, but I haven't seen exactly how the animal/safari resshas work.
I also have no current plans to make those weapons.

Not what I meant but far as I know the toy version you could do it w 2 if you dont load a train in first the brace defaults to (1)

now they need to have all five of them fused

Taiko554 In reply to bshanks [2014-10-13 20:30:49 +0000 UTC]

Eesh, I hope not.  If only because it'd be all different levels with the different heights between the males and females.

agreed forgetting the height issue it would still be fun to see plus they would really have to act as a team withthem joined at the shounders

hamn8r In reply to Taiko554 [2014-10-13 20:40:23 +0000 UTC]

well, I thought it was a well-based question. I mean, you gotta admit, it's weird to say "five stars" when you got six members.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Taiko554 In reply to hamn8r [2014-10-13 20:45:10 +0000 UTC]

If you're still on about Dairanger, watch the series yourself and it will make sense.  From what I remember, it's only five because tracing their lineages back, there have only ever been five.  Which is why, again...watch the series...Kibda Ranger is the 'new star'.  For the most part, I don't think Kiba Ranger ever had a full roll call with the others, so he never would've been around to say 'five stars'.

Watch the series.

hamn8r In reply to Taiko554 [2014-10-13 20:47:08 +0000 UTC]

okay. was just curious as to why it was never changed, not even for Gokaiger. I mean, you can't blame a guy for being curious, can you?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Taiko554 In reply to hamn8r [2014-10-13 20:58:06 +0000 UTC]

That can just be explained by 'keeping with tradition'.  There was absolutely no need for them to say 'six stars'.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

hamn8r In reply to Taiko554 [2014-10-13 21:32:33 +0000 UTC]

I guess that's fair. still, traditions are meant to change. I mean, look at Halloween. meant to a means to appease spirits, but now look at it.

Taiko554 In reply to hamn8r [2014-10-13 21:36:32 +0000 UTC]

Hahaha, is that suppose to be an even comparison, really?  A TV series/franchise and an international holiday?  Reallllllllllllllllly now?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

hamn8r In reply to Taiko554 [2014-10-13 21:40:56 +0000 UTC]

| hey, I was giving an example. point is, traditions evolve just like people and technology. why you gotta pick at me for making a comparison?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Taiko554 In reply to hamn8r [2014-10-13 21:55:17 +0000 UTC]

Because that comparison is insanely ludicrous.  You can't feasibly draw any viable similarities between the two, thereby making the comparison useless.  I was speaking about traditions within Sentai, not calling it a tradition as you refer to Halloween.  Same word 'tradition', different usages and meanings.

That's your mistake.

you get the idea. like traditionally, Megazords is a term reserved for power rangers, but Go-Busters used it all the time.
