Description
I wanted to practice some back ground drawing. I thinkΒ have the right idea but I need to learn more about detailing rocks and such. I feel good about the sky though.Related content

Ember: "I now, but how am I going to get him to say yes?"

Ember: "How am I going to do that?"
Ash: "Well like those other dragonesses are doing right not, taking a seat next to him."
Ember: "Oh right, I guess I walked in tha- wait what?"

At the lava pool a purple dragon is being cornered.
Tephra: "Well what brings you here? I don't think I've seen you before."
Spike: "I...Uh came here with a friend. She should be here soon."
Lapilli: "Is that so, here on a date then?"
Cinder: "How long has she kept you waiting?"

Back at the pools
Spike: "That's alright, I'm enjoying myself here."
Cinder: "I know a place with gems."
Spike: "I already promise to wait for her...are there green gems?"
At the lookout point
Ash: "Looks like they are luring him with his stomach."

Lapilli: "You're not from around here are you?"
Spike: "Is it that obvious?" he nervously chuckled.
Cinder: "I can't put my claw on it but it smells that way." The dragoness sniff the drakes neck cause him to twitch. "You just smell so...different."
Tephra: "Kinda the reason we came over here. Your smell was strong that we had to check what it was."
Spike: "I....smell?"

Cinder: "That's...rather odd."
Spike: "Being raised by another species?"
Tephra: "More on the egg being orphaned. Mothers around here tends to protect their eggs no matter what."
Spike: "It's been rather vague to me my whole life. I kinda stopped asking questions after...the first dragon claimed to be my dad."
Lapilli: "Somedragon tried claiming you? What happened?"
Spike sighs: "It's a long story one that...may take a bit for me say."

Tephra: "An assistant, to what possession?"
Spike: "I...can't say right now."
The three raise a brow.

Cinder lets out a half laugh and cough, "Sorry that last part caught me off guard."

Ash: "How many dragons knew Spike was coming?"
Ember: "Oh....well I told the guards at the gate."
Ash: "You you mean to tell me they could eat him and not know they can start a war?"
Ember: "They are not going to eat him."
Ash: "They are moving closer to him though."

Spike: "Yeah, she was the one that invited me here to the lava pools."

Clinder: "Not much about your pony life, but seeing you now you're bigger than she described. Time to time she mentions you during an announcement to dragons."
Spike: "Wait, she described me being small?"

Meanwhile
Ash: "why are you hiding behind the rock? You got his attention."

Back at the pool
Spike: "Hey I think I see her coming and she brought a friend too."
Clinder: "Wait, you were under the impression that she asked you to come here alone with her?"

Lapilli: "Why would we eat him? He's not made out of gems."
Clinder: "On top of that we could go eat regular gems and not him."

Ember: "The point is that I'm here and we can get on with this." The dragon lord sheepishly notes and nervously enters the lava pool furthest from Spike.
The other four dragoness eyes the distance set by their queen from Spike.

Spike: "That's the normal distance she keeps normally."

Spike eyes widen as the blue mass of Ember's body lands on him knocking him under the lava for a moment.
Lapilli: "why did you did that for?!"
Ash: "Closing the distance of course."
The two emerges from the taking in a heave breath.

Lapilli: "It came into thought since Ash mentioned it. Plus I think this tale may have an eaiser time going through the mouth."

Ash: "There is nothing illegal in this. I can make a mean gem with flavor."

Ash: "I'm not a miracle worker. Cuffing her to you will give her better results."
