It has been pretty hot and humid here.Β Β Last night they were sending across the bottom of the screen to be careful of the heat, to stay hydrated and the usual higher danger for infants and the elderly.Β I was raised in a state where having temps up into the hundreds was more normal than not in the summers, and lived in Southwest Kansas for over 20 years where that was also pretty normal temps so to get these messages on TV always surprises me.Β I guess because I have known that for so many years.Β

were the beak hasn't fully formed yet!Β

You're right about that. Since the 4th of July with all the local fireworks almost every night it's hard even to spot a bird since!
