Very overcast here today but this Robin seems to enjoy it. Flies into my front window on my deck over and over and over again LOL. Guess it wants to make friends with his/her reflection.Related content

Everybody loves a robin in the springtime. Here, everyone fights to find the first one. It officially marks the beginning of spring if you have one in your backyard.

Actually he wants to scare off his reflection. In spring when the hormones and territoriality are running at full bore, males and females alike of various species will sometimes threaten and harass their own reflections for days or weeks. If he gets really compulsive you can put a sheet over the outside of the window temporarily.
