So dry and hot the leaves are turning brown and dropping instead of the usual beautiful fall colors.

 Thanks M I love fall too. Won't be much leaf color this year around here due to the high heat and no rain!! The swamp and the Monastery lake are at very low water levels too.

And I fear this is going to be normal for many parts of the US in the future Russ

I have gorgeous photos of my Forest from about 5 years ago before the weather
really started turning difficult here in the Great North...

Our leaves now do not turn the vibrant colors in many cases that used to grace us,
of course our Maples do and I always am first in line to get out there and shoot
the colors

So many trees have lost too many leaves and almost look dead due to the very hot and dry weather for such a long period of time. I'm glad you like it Rosanna!!
