I have heard of rain ice mix for the south most of the time,
it must have been marvelous for you to see it though

Every few years we do get a real snow storm it is not as unusual as you might think.

Savannah is my fav place in the South...Could live there for sure
and have seen reports of snow there, but then they shut everything down
because they don't have the snow removal resources to keep everyone
safe and sound....but have never been there during a snow event...
That would be cool though to be there one time with snow until we would
all be homebound for the duration of the storm...
