Stronger then Celestia? Considering she does sod all thats not all that impressive. Besides isn't Twilight supposed to have more raw magical power then Celestia hence her, "education".

I feel like the mirror pool shouldn't work on robots. That just feels like cheating.
I wonder if the mirror pool will duplicate objects on your person when it duplicates you? Because that would be majorly OP. "We need to give up the Elements to save the Tree of Harmony." "Wait, give them to me, I've got an idea, I'll be back in like fifteen minutes." And then there are two sets, and they get to keep one.

As long as the being can chant the spell thing pinkie said, I don't see why not. On the other hand, I could just say that conductor used the Cornious stone he found to enhance the lakes magic properties for a brief period. It's easy enough to get around that hurdle when you think about it, conductor is a smart pony, he has ways of making things work XD.

Villain being stronger then Celestia stuff is really getting old. Though the mirror pull idea is surpricing, the question is, should not it work only on living creatures, not on robots?

well the pony universe is vague enough for exploitation aaand for a plot like this, things need to to be stronger than Celestia, or else it would be a very short and uninteresting plot line XP.

I disagree. A fair balance in a story can make it interesting without putting in OP stuff or without having Celestia or Luna getting their flank kicked to show how powerful villain is.
If you look around, you will notice that in majority of the stories or fanfics, Celestia or Luna always lose or never help. It is repeated so often that you could as well not have Celestia or Luna in the story at all and the outcome will be the same.
Kind of annoying if you ask me.
On side note, you cannot just add a villain with that power and than let it be cloned into a huge army ( there is a quanity and quality, strong villains are low in number or are alone while huge armies are weak but strong in number ).
Also, if mirror pull can clone everything, how about clone food and rare minerals and all world's problems are solved. Sorry, but there should be catch or weakpoint to everything, or else it will get boring fast.

Oh come on, at least Let me finish my story before you judge please, you have no idea what I have planned for it yet. Plus, I don't think it's very fair to make assumptions and judgement on an unfinished product.

On side note. I bet there is 75% chance that Celestia or Luna get their flank kicked so Twilight and her friends will have to save the day. (Your story didn't show Twilight's friends in yet, so I assume that it will be Twilight and the conductor former partner who save the day).
It is kind of clishey I notice repeating itself in majority of stories, so my hopes are always low.

well someone has to save the day, whether it's Twilight and her friends or someone else in the story XP. Unless Twilight's cousin, twice removed randomly shows up at the end and pwns everything XP.

Well. Around 90% of stories/comics end up with Twilight and her friends saving the day while everyone else (princesses included) are useless or not helping at all.
I personally do not like when everyone around hero are useless or do nothing to help just so that hero can shine.
I find it quite ironic. Majority of people who watched "Royal Wedding" episode were very disapointed that Celestia got her flank kicked in 15 seconds ( mane 6 went down after an long epic fight, Celestia after embarasing swift defeat ), and that Luna was not there to help. And yet all autors in stories do exacly the same, royal sisters get their flank kicked or are never there to help. It is so rare to find author that make Celestia/Luna useful or author who let someone help mane 6 or the hero save the day.

Well, majority of my predictions I put in the middle of a story confirm itself later on. For example, I once in a story read how Celestia was actually doing something useful, I assumed right away (chrysalis in disquise), and it was confirmed later on.
